Board Bylaws

Agenda/Meeting Materials

BOARD MEETING GUIDELINES

1. Board members will keep Thursday evenings available for special scheduled meetings.

2. Special meetings of the Board may be called by the presiding officer or a majority of the Board members. (Government Code 54956)

3. ALL five Board members are to be contacted regarding availability for such meetings with as much notice as possible.

4. When a quorum has been established for attendance, the special meeting agenda is to be posted and the meeting scheduled.

5. If a regularly scheduled Board meeting runs beyond 10:30 p.m., discussion among the Board will ensue regarding continuing the meeting or extending it to another date.

6. Board agenda items requested by Board members are to be submitted to and reviewed by the Board President and Superintendent.
