Objective: To use my technology focused entrepreneurial experience and my understanding of various eCommerce business models to prospect for and acquire long-term clients for a high-end IP related service provider.

Qualifications: Since 1991 I have been selling software and Internet services in the US and Japanese markets. My sales efforts are focused on Fortune 1000 corporations and specific industry associations. I sold Global Business Information Systems (server/software/data combinations), retail ISP services and high-end electronic commerce websites to major clients such as Budweiser, Citibank, Polaroid, Toyota and Honda. My sales include co-location, virtual hosting, outsourced email, LAN and WAN setup.

In addition to new business development, my day-to-day activities include Solaris and Linux system administration, disaster recovery, vendor relations, system expansion planning and physical installations. I have strong product knowledge with Cisco and 3Com routers and switches, Sun Microsystems servers, and Network Appliance and EMC file servers. I concentrate on gathering client system needs, developing proposals and presenting service solutions.

I have been telemarketing a wide variety of products and services for over 20 years and have developed into a cold-call specialist. Experience has taught me to stay focused on customer retention and repeat business methods. In prospecting for new business I often use public speaking engagements to deliver valid and timely information to business executives. I have delivered more than 20 speeches to groups ranging from 10 to 300 in Japan and the United States. Pre- and post- presentation follow-up helps turn some in my audience into clients. I am qualified to arrange speaking engagements about eCommerce concepts and international business to generate leads.

Accomplishments: Directly responsible for taking the business I founded, JMAIL.CO.JP KK, to 560,000 registered users. In the process of building this company I wrote business plans that raised over seven million dollars in venture capital. The start-up Internet experience will be very useful in acquiring new clients for high-end IP services.

Sold Budweiser Japan a $450,000 website and promotion package. The Budweiser account was nurtured thru ASCII ads for "Bud Net" in 1993 to Bud Girls and a fantastic online Golf competition with winners going to Hawaii in 1996.

Engineered the purchase of and published The Tokyo Journal Magazine (largest English monthly magazine in Japan - 88 pages 25% color). This acquisition attracted the attention and patronage of multinational clients for new technology and Internet services. I sold multiple long-term website development projects for many companies including AIG, Polaroid, Coca-Cola, JR Tokai and Toyota.

Negotiated OEM ISP agreements with NTT PC Communications and Japan Telecom to provide full ISP infrastructure on a 50/50 revenue share basis. JMAIL.CO.JP KK used its domain names, sales and support to create the largest foreign ISP in Japan.

Negotiated bundle ISP agreements with IBM Japan to promote our ISP business with our logo and 5 megabyte website on 350,000 computer desktops. Our IBM hard-disk website included advertising from Westin Hotels, Polaroid, Budweiser, and Coca-Cola.
