Managed Linux servers, including scripting, DNS, backups, automation, mysql, apache, awk, software installation, commissioning new boxes Build, design and manage Oracle 10g Application Express based content management system. Key design feature is output to flat-file html for easy search engine consumption. Data Mining, including demographic surveys, media kit development, network advertising management, and new business development.

    www.jmail.co.jp. Japan's first commercial internet company.

    Owns Japan.co.jp and 100 other .co.jp domains. Operates as a free email and blog service. Max growth was to 900,000 registered users.

    Websites design and business modeling services to the largest companies in the world, including: Budweiser, Coca-Cola, Polaroid, Citibank, Toyota, Honda, Chrysler, Turner Broadcasting, Bloomberg Business News and many other firms.

    Managed 65 staff in four divisions: advertising agency, ISP, Internet Cafénd Tokyo Journal Magazine.

    Raised 10 million dollars from 1995 to 1999. Achieved $2.9 MM in sales first during 12 months after funding. Sold company in 2000, bought it back in 2004. Operates as www.jmail.co.jp again with business day-to-day by Tokyo based partner.

    Bought and sold business units. Involved in all aspects of negotiations

    Negotiated ISP Network Sharing agreements with NTT and Japan Telecom. These agreements were for upgrading our modem based bbs to Japan-wide Internet PPP access service. We did the branding, sales and support they provided the network.

    System Operator - built and managed dos based BBS starting in 1991.

    Delivered more that 20 speeches on Internet and new technology to the American Chamber of Commerce, Foreign Correspondent's Club of Japan, EU-Japan Centre, Oracle OAUG events and multiple other organizations.

    Oracle Consulting Experience:

    2004-2005 Infocrossing - Project basis: set up telemarketing operation staffed with "golden voices," sales support, presentation preparation and delivery, and trade-show booths. In addition to sales support I built an Oracle HTML DB CRM system to manage 13,000 leads and greatly increased the productivity of the telemarketing team.

    Delivered speech at Oracle event titled, "How to Motivate Your Tech Staff."

    2002-2004 C3 Business Solutions - Project basis: sales support, presentation preparation and delivery, and trade-show booths. I was Involved specifically with their Augmenter product that allows easy change to Oracle Application forms. My job was to find solutions for the clients and help the team sell.
